고려대학교 외국어센터에서는 호주 맥쿼리대학교와 함께 통번역전공 해외석사학위 연계과정을 운영하고 있습니다. 고려대학교 국제어학원에서 Certificate 과정을 이수한 후, 호주 시드니 맥쿼리대학교에서 Diploma 과정과 Master 과정을 수학하시면 맥쿼리대학교의 석사학위를 취득하실 수 있습니다. 고려대-맥쿼리대 통번역 학위 Certificate과정은 맥쿼리대학교의 수준 높은 교수법과 실용적인 학습 프로그램을 도입하여 강의를 제공하고 직장인을 위한 주말반 수업도 진행하고 있습니다.
호주 맥쿼리대학교는 1964년 뉴사우스웨일즈 주정부에 의해 설립된 시드니에서 3번째로 오래된 대학입니다. 우수한 교수법과 연구성과로 인정받는 혁신적인 대학으로서, 호주 최대 규모의 언어학부는 2023년 QS 랭킹 27위를 차지하며 통번역분야와 영어교수법에서 호주 교육을 선도하고 있습니다. 맥쿼리대학교의 통번역전공 석사학위과정은 호주 국립 통번역 인증(NAATI, National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) 프로그램입니다.
